Thursday

This morning John got up and went on the paper route with us since it is his day off. We wanted him to come along so that he could see the new small route that we have. It was fun having John with us today. He even treated the kids with McDonalds for breakfast when we were done.


Then instead of hitting school right away we decided to go back to sleep and then get up later to do school.


The kids worked really hard on school today. We did the projects for our Sabbath Meal.... thank you John for the help with the cutting stuff. We needed to cut stars out of aluminum and then cut circles out of cork board. It was very handy having dad there to use the special cutting tools to get that completed. Daniel and Johnathan painted our special spice box....very colorful and looks great. Nattalie helped John with the cutting out. I worked on making the spice mixture for our spice box. That was fun... and wow that smell really reminds me of the fall. So we have an oil candle that we are excited to see if it really works, a nice spice box, and candles in pretty candle holders.


After school we are just spending some time relaxing as a family together and then we will be headed out. Nattalie and I are going to the church for the cooking class and the boys are going to go to the gym.


Tomorrow there is not a lot of school that the kids will do because we will be preparing for the Sabbath. We need to get all the work done so that there is no work that needs to be done on Saturday. I will be excited to share how all the food turns out. We will be making bread from scratch and braiding it together and then making a chicken soup. Looking forward to great time with the family!
